SMB Consulting, Inc. is a nationally recognized, Louisville, Kentucky based small business consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, business analysis, search engine optimization (SEO), technology, sales and marketing.

We are available for initial consultations during normal business hours (9 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time) Monday through Friday although we can frequently be found working odd hours due to our passion for helping our clients achieve greatness.

SMB serves the lower 48 United States with a particular focus on the Southeast Region including: Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia. We currently have clients as far west as New Mexico, however. With the widespread adoption of Internet based communications, no potential customer is out of reach.

You can count on SMB Consultants to be thorough, detail oriented, and obsessed with helping you to improve your business. We believe that customer satisfaction is built around mutual trust and information sharing.

Beginning the Journey

Prior to engaging in any business consulting endeavor, we will gladly sign a confidentiality agreement to insure our dealings will stay between us. Integrity is a key ingredient to our firm.

From there, we will pursue conducting a SWOT analysis and gathing competitive intelligence to determine where your company stands today. In order to achieve your goals, an accurate inventory of your strengths and weaknesses will go a long way towards success. This is a key building block in the process.

Next, we will work with your people to determine an appropriate strategy to pursue to achieve the vision set forth by your company's founders.

From there, our endeavor may take several paths which will vary from case to case although we believe in following accepted best practices regardless of the methodologies in order to minimize risks.

The techniques we use may be textbook in nature, but there is no textbook for dynamic life and business. It's an evolving and ever changing experience. That's why we don't come in and preach to you or your people about how to do things. You understand your business better than we do, but that doesn't mean we can't help you improve upon things. Often times an outsider can see things those on the interior are blinded by. Sometimes that's all it takes to get over the hill.
