Why Partner? - A good partner has three principal characteristics:
- Helps the company achieve strategic goals by providing capabilities the company currently lacks.
- Shares the firm's vision and purpose.
- A good partner is unlikely to exploit the alliance opportunistically for its own ends.
We obviously look for these qualities in a partner or strategic alliance, but our primary focus is to address our clients' needs. To that end, we don't enter into any signed agreements until both parties have had an opportunity to prove themselves to one another.
Sharing the Wealth - there is a vast market available to small business consulting firms. There isn't an entity known which can handle every single small business issue and not spread themselves too thin. There are simply too many small businesses in the United States alone to jointly maintain profitability and a requisite broad knowledgebase. Partnership makes sense for the small business consultant due to these factors alone and is the mindset we choose to maintain.

Our Approach
We choose to take a mutual proving ground approach to partnership. We want to show our potential partners what we can do so they have full confidence in our capabilities and vice versa. We also want to make sure both parties share a common approach to problem solving and providing customer centric solutions. There's nothing worse than competing with a "partner" during an ongoing client project.
